A passionate educator with over two decades of teaching experience. Sherley founded SPARK Academy as the first franchisee in Pune for Abacus, way back in 2002. An alumna from the prestigious Stella Maris College, she runs her academy with a team of well trained Instructors and is herself an Abacus Grand Master. She is a B.Ed and also holds an MBA degree. A keen sportswoman, Sherley has captained the Tamilnadu State Hockey Team. An active Rotarian, she has contributed immensely to the needy.
And with all this, she has found time to paint and do Himalayan treks.

I am a Masters in Physics though my favourite subject is Maths. Was always a meritorious student and won prizes in debates in school. I was a teacher in St. Francis School, Jhansi. I found abacus to be a very effective instrument for brain development, which is why I decided to become an instructor with SPARK almost 3 years ago. SPARK is a family and we strive to help our students excel not only in academics but in all the fields. I am a trained kathak dancer and my hobbies include cooking, yoga and listening to music. When I see students learn and succeed, it fills my heart with happiness.

After my graduation, I qualified myself as a Clinical Medical Laboratory Technician. I am passionate about learning any new skill. My son Pavan had joined abacus classes with Sherley madam. I too got interested in learning abacus, and after my training I joined SPARK as an Instructor. I have been with Spark for over 2 years. I am a very creative person and like to do drawing, painting, cooking, art & craft, in fact love to do anything with my hands!

Maneesha is a qualified Engineer. She has been an excelling student herself and has been a topper all through, right from SSC, HSC and B.Tech. When Maneesha saw both her children do so well after being SPARK students, it was almost a natural progression that she decided to pursue a career in academics herself and joined SPARK as an instructor. A fast learner with an analytical mind, she has proved to be a technically sound abacus instructor. Apart from being a passionate teacher, Maneesha is a talented multi-linguist too.

Akanksha Goel is a commerce graduate and has to her credit a certification program from APTECH.

She started teaching from a very young age. Teaching comes very naturally to her. Her hobbies are reading books, dancing, learning new skills and visiting new places.

Simran Virani has done Masters in Chemistry. She has won many awards during her stint in lectureship. She is a born teacher and has tutored many children right from her school days. She has a soft corner for the needy and poor.

Her hobbies are listening to music, cooking and traveling.

Amisha is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 6 years of work-exp in TCS. She took a voluntary break from the corporate to focus on being a full time mother. She has taken up this new role being an ‘edu-preneur’, that combines her experience of finance while being a responsible parent. A very detailed person she is a certified NIMka Branch Head, an enthusiastic teacher and coach at heart.
